Our latest innovation: Four ranges of control

Different waters have different conductivities.

Pure water is too resistive (less than 1 micro-siemens) to allow much current to flow. The result is that too much time is needed to even start the process of conduction.

Hard water, on the other hand, is so conductive (more than 50 micro-siemens), that it allows too much current to flow.  The result is that nanoparticle quality is compromised.

In our research lab, we tested pure water and hard water, as well as the extreme grades of water for each type – too pure and too hard. The objective of the test was to improve current control in all types of water.

From the tests, we noted that the constant current control did not operate fully in the extreme grades of pure and hard waters.   

At Biophysica Inc., we solved that problem.

Biophysica generators are now equipped with a four-position COARSE range switch that allows the production of high-quality nanoparticles in all grades of pure and hard water, at no additional cost.

1.  In extremely resistive waters, like the purest pharmaceutical grade deionized waters, the New COARSE range switch is positioned at the highest current range to deliver optimum current levels.
2. In extremely conductive waters, like hard conductive groundwaters, the New COARSE range switch is positioned at the lowest current range to generate very low current levels to effectively produce the smallest high-quality nanoparticles.

The COARSE range switch on a Biophysica generator permits the delivery of the optimum current level that ensures consistency in the production of the smallest and highest-quality nanoparticles that Biophysica generators are known for.

***For our customers with earlier models, we can offer this four-position coarse range switch in an external box that easily attaches to the output connectors (Cost: USD $100.) Our FINE control knob still allows for fine adjustments within these four ranges. Users are advised to purchase a proper conductivity meter (not TDS) to measure the quality of their water (Cost: USD $140.)
